Bill McKay presented this address, at our AGM, titled "BETTER WAYS OF HOUSING OURSELVES - THE OPPORTUNITY FOR CO-HOUSING.
Bill is an author, historian and lecturer at the University of Auckland School of Architecture and Planning. He has a regular commentary spot on Radio New Zealand’s Nine To Noon current affairs show discussing urban issues and housing, as well as being a frequent contributor to the
magazine Architecture New Zealand and other media.
His work over the last decade has been recognised by the New Zealand Institute of Architects with a President’s Award and Urbis magazine has named him Best Architectural Writer.
He is currently working on a history of housing in Aotearoa New Zealand to be published in late 2020.
