More planting along the Wairoa Stream by Kerikeri High School Students
20 students from Kerikeri High School along with teachers Kate Crawford and Sara David planted about 220 plants of 19 different species as the first stage of foresting 100 more metres of the Wairoa Stream public walkway and wildlife corridor at the Alderton Park end of the track.
The students were mentored by volunteers from Friends of the Wairoa Stream, Lyndsay Turnor, Jan Barnett, Stan Jackson, David James and Rod Brown.
